State Attorney General told KFI News that he supports the efforts of Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley and City Attorney Carmen Trutanich to “Go after Medical Marijuana Dispensaries Selling Pot to Patients.” Brown also said that “Sales of Marijuana are Illegal No Matter What,” and only the Courts and State Legislature can clarify the law. The news is a blow to some Los Angeles City Councilmembers, who last week proposed a law legalizing the sale of marijuana, as long as it was not for profit. Jerry Brown’s opinion that sales are illegal “no matter what” is his view of the current state of the law in California, and he urged the Courts and the State Legislature to provide some clarification.
